We are working on some fascinating public issues including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) implications for the public sector and its partners, the future structure of the rail sector, the implications from the rise of electric and autonomous vehicles and how to deliver some of the largest most complex infrastructure programmes in the UK. What will you be doing? You will perform a critical role contributing to client workstreams, supporting business development, and helping our team to grow and develop.Develop solutions to problems and collaborate with more senior colleagues and clientsGenerate hypotheses and contribute to storyboarding to help with solving our clients most complex and challenging problemsTake ownership of small workstreams within engagements and contribute to larger workstreams, working closely with workstream leads.Produce client ready deliverablesLiaise effectively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KPMGWork closely and collaboratively with colleagues and clientsProvide timely feedback and coaching to our team membersBuild and maintain a strong internal and external networkContribute to business development opportunities by helping with the generation of proposals and bid documentation What will you need to do it?Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical capabilitiesStructured thinking skills combined with creativityBe comfortable handling ambiguity and changing client demandsAbility to review and assess technical data and distil the key strategic insightsAbility to evaluate complex problems and support delivery of insightful recommendations that can be practically executedExcellent English written and oral communication skillsDemonstrate enthusiasm and interest in working on critical public sector issues and the delivery of the infrastructure and services that help realise public policyExperience of working with or researching a range of stakeholders/clients and having an emerging understanding of the issues facing the infrastructure sector and/or large-scale procurements Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:A passion for learning and maintaining knowledge of trends in the latest thinking related to client operational and/or supplier delivery modelsProfessional qualification (or working towards one) such as MCIPS, MRICS or relevant postgraduate degrees welcome To discuss this or wider Deal Advisory roles with our recruitment team, all you need to do is apply, create a profile, upload your CV and begin to make your mark with KPMG.Our Locations: We are open to talk to major projects advisory talent across the country but our core hubs for this role are: London Canary WharfManchesterBirminghamWith 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.
