Job Title: Assistant Project Manager


Location: Rochester, Kent. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.


Salary: Up to £34,000 depending on skills and experience



What you’ll be doing:



  • Cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships

  • Overseeing team management and personnel coordination

  • Assisting in the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive project plan encompassing all aspects of the project

  • Applying and utilising Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies

  • Taking responsibility for specific work packages and project tasks

  • Supporting the project/bid team to ensure all milestones and objectives are successfully met

  • Employing project management techniques to identify potential issues early and implement effective mitigation strategies


Your skills and experiences:



  • Experience in project management within an engineering development environment, with a solid understanding of commercial and financial principles

  • Proven ability to effectively motivate, influence, and manage people

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • A well-rounded business acumen, with a strong focus on customer needs
