Assistant Project Manager�- Herts/ London
A growing contractor are currently seeking an Assistant Project�Manager to join their company. The Assistant Project�Manager will be working alongside an experienced Contracts Manager overseeing multiple projects across the high end/ heritage London market.

- Happy to work in between both small and large value projects and happy with the variety
Wants to be involved in the following areas:
- Cost management:
- Pricing tenders
- Pricing variations
- Putting together monthly applications for payment
- Setting contract budgets
Programme:
- Producing tender or construction programmes using software
- Understanding how to present the effects of delays on projects
Health and Safety:
- Producing safe systems of works
- Taking on additional responsibilities, temporary works co-ordinator, scaffold inspections�
- Carrying our reports and inspections�
Problem-solving:
- Finding unique solutions to bespoke issues
- Working in a bespoke environment on bespoke projects
Project delivery:
- Setting up projects; subcontractors; direct labour; site set up; client liaison
Skills:
- IT literate
- Proficient with Microsoft office programmes (Word / Excel)
- Strong preference for construction degree background
Experience:
- Construction degree full time completed or 3 years through part-time course
- 2 years on site minimum
