ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR – MAIN CONTRACTOR & DEVELOPER



LOCATION: STEVENAGE - HERTFORDSHIRE

ROLE: Assistant Quantity Surveyor



LOCATION: Stevenage - Hertfordshire



SALARY: £30,000 - £50,000 + Package

About Our Client:



They are a multi-disciplined business who provide a range of services to both commercial and domestic clients. Regulated by the RICS, this business works as a Consultancy, Main Contractor and Developer, undertaking a variety tasks to mean the needs of a client. This is a young, growing company who has secured over 300% of the required pipeline, hence the need to grow the team. Projects vary, so it is an interesting position, where you can gain exposure to areas that may not always have been part of your job description.





The Role:



As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a business that is at a very exciting time. They have an extremely strong order book, growing and you will be working alongside great people. You will ideally have completed your degree, within a relevant subject such as Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and ideally have some hands-on experience. The salary range is large as the company are open to differing levels of an Assistant. You will be tasked with a variety of jobs such as package and sub-contractor procurement, monthly CVRs and more. It will all depend on your strengths, weaknesses and areas to develop. You will be working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will help you reach your potential. This is an office-based role with site visits, some working from home may be possible but not guaranteed. That said, the company are flexible and understand things like appointments of school drop offs happen and take these in to account.





The Applicant:



The ideal candidate must have:




  • Further education, such as a relevant degree

  • Worked for a Main Contractor or Developer



It is desirable to have:




  • Completed your degree and have hands on experience
