Assistant Quantity Surveyor

As part of our exciting expansion in the North Home Counties region, we're looking for a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll support budget control for a mix of triple tenure sites, including Private, Affordable, and Build to Rent residential schemes across the North Home Counties.

What You Will Do
Assist in general project coordination and administration.
Support the preparation and negotiation of initial site budgets.
Help with subcontract procurement, including obtaining risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation from subcontractors.
Undertake site visits and inspections, coordinating with site management and subcontractors.
Assist in carrying out subcontract payments, variation claims, and final account settlements.
Liaise with other departments and external consultants regarding cost issues.
