Reddbrick are recruiting for Regional�Contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering�construction projects across the North East. Currently, they are seeking a talented Assistant�Quantity Surveyor to join their team and support projects throughout the region .

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role:

As an Assistant�Quantity Surveyor, you will be a�member of the project team, responsible for managing aspects of the commercial and contractual activities on the assigned sections of the project. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the project's financial success and delivering it to the highest standards of quality, within budget and on schedule.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

Assisting the project Quantity Surveyor with

• Conducting comprehensive cost estimation and preparing accurate cost plans


• Supporting the subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and agreement of terms


• Monitoring project costs and variations, providing proactive cost advice and control measures


• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and risk management


• Collaborating with the project team to address commercial issues and find cost-effective solutions


• Suporting with the Preparation�and submital of�monthly reports on project financial performance


• Conducting cost and value reconciliations, as well as interim and final account agreements

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Relevant�degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field


• A working�understanding of�forms of construction contracts including JCT, NEC and D&B.


• Experience of Apartments, Residential Apartments, High Rise Accomodation wouldbe of interest.


• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills


• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
