Position: Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Drive Success on a £30M Commercial New Build Project in Hertfordshire! ??

Location: Hertfordshire

Package: £35,000 - £45,000 plus £4,500 Car Allowance + Travel

With a growing pipeline of work, they’re seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

You’ll play a vital role in delivering a £30m Commercial New Build project in Hertfordshire, working closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure its success.

What You’ll Do:

? Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor to keep the project on track and within budget.

? Assist in preparing and submitting monthly CVRs and progress reports.

? Help manage project valuations and cash flow, optimising value at every stage.

? Contribute to the development of strategies while maintaining contractual obligations.

? Gain hands-on experience in final account negotiations with main and subcontractors.

About You:

?? Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similar role.

?? Experience in large-scale new build or specialist projects (commercial a bonus!).

?? Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop your career in the construction industry.

?? Strong communication and organisational skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.
