Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a new challenge or a step up with a leading construction business on a �80m project in Manchester?

The role for Assistant Quantity Surveyor

This is a great opportunity to join an established Tier 1 build contractor and developer who have a turnover of over �200m annually and work on a number of complex interesting projects that vary in size between �30m and �80m.

They work across a variety of sectors including the commercial, healthcare, education, residential, sports & leisure sectors. This role is specifically working on a high end mixed use flagship high rise residential & commercial development in Manchester.

Duties & Responsibilities:

" Support the commercial team
" Prepare variations/valuations
" Prepare s/c valuations
" Attend site client meetings
" Liaise with Site Management

Take responsibility for:

" Maintaining site records, control documents
" Measuring progress on site
" Consider Risk & opportunity
" Assist with CVR's as required for larger value works
" Produce for small value projects and report to SQS/MQS
" Cash management
" Timely application/invoices in line with client schedule
" Understand & assist in the implementation of the commercial strategy
" At all times act in a suitable & professional manner
" Involved with & take some responsibility on traditional contracts

Required Experience for Assistant Quantity Surveyor


" Completed a BSc Quantity Surveying and 2-5 years QS experience
" Ability to effectively utilise a range of Microsoft Office tools
" Able to manipulate, manage/interrogate data
" Be fully conversant with the use of the Standard Method of Measurement
