A prestigious Tier One Main Contractor is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in North London. This exciting opportunity will involve working on a long-term Reactive Maintenance Contract for a well-established client, offering excellent career development prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, costs, and forecasts.


• Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.


• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts.


• Support in the valuation and procurement of subcontractors.


• Monitor project performance and assist with cost reporting.


• Work alongside the team to resolve any contract disputes and manage change orders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.


• Strong communication and negotiation skills.


• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, especially within reactive maintenance or construction.


• A keen interest in developing your career within Quantity Surveying.
