About the Role:
Barhale are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Walsall. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong civils background, ideally within the water industry, to develop their career in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing project costs, from initial estimates through to final accounts.
Work closely with senior surveyors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all project milestones.
Support with NEC and Change Control processes on live projects.
Provide regular updates and reports to site contacts and stakeholders.
Requirements:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.
Experience in the civils sector, particularly the water industry, is preferred but not essential.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
A CSCS card is preferred but not essential.
