About the Role:

Barhale are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Walsall. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong civils background, ideally within the water industry, to develop their career in a dynamic and challenging environment.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Assist in managing project costs, from initial estimates through to final accounts.




  • Work closely with senior surveyors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all project milestones.




  • Support with NEC and Change Control processes on live projects.




  • Provide regular updates and reports to site contacts and stakeholders.





Requirements:





  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.




  • Experience in the civils sector, particularly the water industry, is preferred but not essential.




  • Strong knowledge of NEC and Change Control processes.




  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.




  • Excellent communication skills.




  • A CSCS card is preferred but not essential.
