Job Description
A reputable and award-winning housing developer is seeking a freelance Assistant Site Manager to oversee a traditional new build housing project in Dorset. In this role, you will work closely with the Site Manager and a supportive team to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Site Manager in managing the build of traditional new build housing
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process
- Monitor progress and report to the Site Manager
Required Qualifications:
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- First Aid Certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior experience in site management within the house building sector
- Strong knowledge of traditional new build housing processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
