Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

We are currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager on behalf of a highly desirable, privately owned developer with live sites across the Bedfordshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable developer known for delivering high-quality residential projects. With a strong pipeline of ongoing developments, the company is looking for a motivated Assistant Site Manager to support the management of these live sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of live construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they adhere to site procedures and quality standards.
- Assist in managing site health and safety, ensuring all regulations are met and a safe working environment is maintained.
- Help monitor project progress, including quality control, and provide updates to senior management.
- Assist with site documentation, including site diaries, quality checks, and reporting.
- Liaise with the client, design team, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role as an Assistant Site Manager or Trainee Site Manager, ideally within the residential construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and site compliance.
- CSCS card, SMSTS (or working towards), and First Aid qualification are preferred.
