Job Duties:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage and maintain accurate site documentation and records
  • Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Education:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction site management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of construction processes and techniques
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health and Safety certification
  • First Aid training

Working Conditions:

The role involves working on a construction site, which may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and physical work. The Assistant Site Manager may be required to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
