Job Duties:
- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage and maintain accurate site documentation and records
- Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Education:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction site management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of construction processes and techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Health and Safety certification
- First Aid training
Working Conditions:
The role involves working on a construction site, which may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and physical work. The Assistant Site Manager may be required to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
