About the Role:
Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planner or Planner to join a forward-thinking and dynamic team in Chelmsford / Saffron Walden. This is a fantastic chance to work on a wide variety of projects, acting for landowners, developers, promoters, and the public sector. You will be involved in completing planning applications and contributing to local plan promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Contributing to local plan promotions.
• Working with a variety of stakeholders, including landowners, developers, and the public sector.
• Developing a strong understanding of planning policies and regulations.
• Supporting senior planners in delivering high-quality planning solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Working towards or already holding MRTPI status.
• Relevant experience within planning or a related field.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
