Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
  • Supporting senior planners in the preparation of planning reports and documents.
  • Conducting research on planning policies, regulations, and relevant legislation.
  • Engaging in site assessments and contributing to planning strategies.
  • Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to provide planning advice.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with planning conditions and regulations.
  • Working on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

About You:

  • A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Some previous experience in planning, whether through work placements, internships, or relevant roles.
  • Knowledge of UK planning policies and regulations is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for planning and development.
  • A desire to grow professionally within a supportive team environment.
