Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveyor

As a Assistant/Trainee QS, you will receive comprehensive training and support from experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of quantity surveying.About the Role:Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tenders.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects are within budget.Support in the preparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities.Assist in managing and negotiating subcontractor and supplier contracts.Help in the analysis of project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and improvements.Participate in project meetings and provide valuable insights on cost management.Learn to prepare and submit regular reports on project financial status.Qualifications:A degree or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.Ideally had some QS experience.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.A valid driver's license would be beneficial.
