Our success has been built on providing an exceptional client service for a range of private individuals, banks, private equity funds, solicitors and trusts.What we're looking for: An exciting position has arisen for an Associate Director, Building Surveyor to join our fast-growing team based in our Covent Garden office.This opportunity involves undertaking a broad range of surveying duties for various prime and super prime private residential properties, across a wide variety of sectors predominantly in London and the Home Counties.The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience, working alongside Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors, Bank Monitoring Surveyors and Expert Witnesses specialising in quantum and technical matters.Day-to-day responsibilities to include but not restricted to the following:Assist with new business, preparing bids and quotes.Undertaking measured and building surveys (residential and commercial).Undertaking Schedules of Condition and Awards for Party Wall matters.Write specifications and prepare tender and contract documentation.Provide Contract Administrator services on projects.Chair project progress meetings and prepare minutes and progress reports.Undertaking dilapidation surveys and prepare Scott schedules.Undertaking defect analysis surveys and preparing reports.Preparing Licences to AlterAssist with Expert Witness matters and preparation of CPR35 reports.What you'll need:To have an RICS accredited Degree in Building Surveying.To be a full member of the RICS (MRICS).Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, Clients and members of the public.Good IT skills and a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Have a keen eye for detail and strive to provide a quality service.What we offer:Competitive salary dependent on level of education and experience.Benefits include but are not limited to:PensionPrivate HealthcareLife InsuranceCritical illness cover25 days Annual LeaveElectric Car SchemeCycle to Work Scheme
