As part of this transformation, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development and Licensing (BD&L) professional to join our team.

Key responsibilities include:
Identifying & evaluating new oncology opportunities from external parties and making recommendations on go/no-go decisions to in-licence/acquire such assets.
Assessing the viability of opportunities using data gathered from market insights, internal and external subject matter experts and integrating scientific rationale and data, intellectual property considerations and the competitive landscape
Identifying and assessing risks related to a deal process and providing recommendations on potential mitigation strategies.
Supporting the BD&L team to advance deal processes, including due diligence, third party negotiations, preparation of Investment Committee and final agreement documentation through to close
For this role you must have:
An advanced degree in the biological or chemical sciences (MSc / PhD), or equivalent experience
Experience in the origination, evaluation and diligence of oncology assets, ideally gained in a pharmaceutical, biotech, investment or healthcare consultancy company
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and presentation skills
The proven ability to make quantitative and qualitative assessments
A commercial and scientific mindset
