Associate Director - Decarbonisation

Fantastic opportunity to join the leadership team of a scaling sustainability venture helping companies on their decarbonisation journey. We're leading the search for Carbon Responsible to find an Associate Director to lead their Client Delivery team.As a senior leader in the business, you will have primary responsibility for ensuring that all client projects are appropriately scoped, resourced and delivered. Leading a growing team of 5 Carbon Accounting specialists, you will liaise with other teams, including Data & Product, to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery of client work, liaising on topics such as climate change, sustainability reporting, decarbonization, carbon accounting, climate related regulations, financial disclosure, other disclosure frameworks, and science-based target setting.Additionally, you will help manage the significant growth by continued support to clients with high-quality reporting, exceptional client service and efficient resource management aswell as developing the team and wider proposition.We are looking for a client-focused and data-led AD adept at engaging senior clients in technical decarbonisation discussions, managing and developing a team and with the energy and drive to help refine the proposition and scale the business. You will have previous experience in corporate strategy consulting, ESG consulting, or carbon emissions management with an eye for detail and team management experience.With over a decade of experience, Carbon Responsible offer support to organisations, helping navigate a complex and ever-changing sustainability landscape and guide industry reporting.
