Associate Director Geo-Environmental - required to join a structural, civil and building engineering company based out of their Milton Keynes office as well as hands-on site presence which will include UK wide travel. The company the Associate Director / Geoenvironmental Engineer will be working for are continuously growing and support across a wide range of sectors at all stages in the built environment.This Associate Director / Geoenvironmental Engineer will create and drive the vision for the Geo Environmental department within the company. Projects included Phase I Desk Studies and Phase II Ground Investigations for both residential and commercial developments as well as landfill extension sites Associate Director Geo-Environmental Position OverviewLeading the Geo-Environmental team of a Principal, Senior and Graduate EngineerWorking to design standards in accordance with British Standards, Eurocodes, CIRIA, BRE, NHBC etcImplement internal QMS procedures and ensure all designs comply with the company’s internal checking protocols.Coordinate, supervise, and actively engage with clientsOffer innovative designs, design documentation,Overseeing the tender process, producing precise contract documentation,Full project management of projects of all sizes including commercial delivery of projects, ensuring timescales and budgets are met.Input into the preparation of fee proposals and develop associated site investigations scopes.Lead the site investigation process from concept (proposals) through to completionUndertake coordination with other professionals and contractors as appropriateMentoring of less experienced membersAssociate Director Geo-Environmental Position RequirementsCompletion of Degree in relevant Engineering subjectMinimum 10 years’ experience working in similar engineering consultancyChartered geologist, Engineer or Scientist.Commercially aware, and able to actively attract and develop business opportunitiesProficient in the use of software such as technical design packages including SlopeW (or similar), Holebase etc.Proficient in foundation design and recommendations, earthworks, slope stability, and contaminated land risk assessment including remediation, DQRA etcThe ability to lead a team of engineers and techniciansFull driving licence and use of a carAssociate Director Geo-Environmental Position RemunerationSalary £60k + (dependent on experience)25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysHybrid workingPayment of a relevant professional subscriptionLife Assurance PolicyTraining and professional development plan
