Due to rapid growth in our West Region, we're looking for a dynamic Associate Director - Highways Infrastructure Delivery to join our leadership team!
Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of highways infrastructure?
In this exciting role, you'll work closely with the Technical Director, providing leadership, governance, and strategic direction. You'll oversee highways design, service development, and our design & build offerings, while working alongside specialists in Landscape and Urban Design and Flood & Water Management.
What You'll Do:
Lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Build lasting partnerships with public, private, and developer clients, driving growth and new business opportunities.
Mentor and develop teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and innovation.
Oversee commercial management, risk assessment, project programming, and more.
Help shape business strategies, leading our West Region to meet its ambitious growth targets.About You:
Extensive experience in highways design and construction.
Extensive experience of quality assurance and technical leadership in a design and delivery capacity.
Thorough knowledge and experience across various contract forms such as NEC PSC and ECC type contracts.
Working knowledge of relevant legislation, planning policy, guides and design standards relating to highways and general engineering and construction sectors.
Knowledge and experience of financial management for significant project and programme values.
Demonstrable business/commercial management skills of small to large project.
Network of consultant, contractor, and developer contacts to assist in the growth and development of business targets.
Proven track record of securing new client opportunities across the private and public sector.
Proven success leading teams and delivering client-focused results.
Strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving new business.
Ability to inspire and mentor your team to achieve excellence.
Track record of continuous improvement and innovation in design and delivery processes.
Professional membership with industry body such as ICE, CIHT, IHE or similar.
Chartered status (desirable but not essential).This is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing region, leading on major infrastructure projects and playing a pivotal role in our continued success.
What's in it for you?
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum DOE
Hybrid working
Contract: Permanent
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
