The Associate Director of Safeguarding will work to provide strategic, professional, clinical leadership and consultancy for vulnerable people including the safeguarding of adults, children and young people and LeDeR trust wide.There are seven main functions of the Associate Director of Safeguarding role: Expert safeguarding practiceProfessional leadershipEducation, teaching and researchStrategy development, implementation and evaluationQuality improvement/assurance/governanceManagerialCommunication The post holder will provide leadership in the development of a robust culture of safeguarding practice across the trust acting as the lead for safeguarding in the absence of the Associate Director of Safeguarding.The post holder will offer highly specialist and complex safeguarding leadership to divisional and corporate safeguarding programs, to enhance safeguarding practice across the Trust.The post holder will role model a consistently high-quality of safeguarding practice by promoting safeguarding best practice and continuous service improvements through visible and present leadership, effective teamwork, and empowerment of staff.The post holder will be the Trust senior operational lead for the Domestic Abuse and Prevent agenda.JBRP1_UKTJ
