We would also like to meet experienced project professionals who would like to move into the health sector as we can develop your skillset for this industry.Your responsibilities will include:Recognised lead for projects controls delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes. Define specific Project Controls methods, techniques and tools.Expertise in implementation of EVM and Total Cost Management.Success in managing and cultivating defined client relationships and securing new work.Lead and manages a team of professionals delivering Projects Controls services and responsible for staff development.Devise strategies, alternatives and recommendations for effective delivery solutions to meet client needs.Technical management expertise:Mastery in setting up effective project controls systems & procedures.Expert knowledge of project controls tools & software (e.g. MS Project, PRA, portfolio software, Primavera P6, acumen fuse).Managing resourcing, growing & developing the team.Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.Support to senior management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence & other business development or alliance development projects.Excellent attention to detail & ability to validate & check project control inputs, recording & reports produced, providing basic commentary & analysis.Leadership & behavioural qualities:Looking to the future to create a vision and set strategy.Persuading and influencing colleagues.Developing internal connections that can help you.Identifying and analysing business risks.Building and leading a high performing team.Very high political and cultural acuity.Creating and delivering persuasive and engaging presentations to wide range of audiences in our industry.Spotting, developing and coaching talented individuals.Selling the business and winning work.About youYou have a degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Programme, Project or Commercial Management disciplines, ideally within NHS/healthcare environments. You have or are working chartered/registered member of a relevant institution/accreditation from a recognised industry body (e.g. APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE). You can build lasting client relationships and lead to strong, motivated teams.
