Catch 22 are working with a large independent property management organisation, who are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Property Director.
This is a 1 year maternity contract overseeing a portfolio of commercial properties across Manchester with a January start date.
This role is key to ensuring compliance, managing service charge budgets, and implementing strategies that drive high-quality facilities management across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead hard and soft facilities services across multiple sites, ensuring consistent standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve service delivery, enhance cost-efficiency, and align with corporate goals.
  • Oversee service charge budgets, carefully monitoring expenditure and managing variances to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Conduct regular site visits and manage a facilities team, providing guidance through appraisals and one-to-one support.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to assess performance, focusing on compliance with contracts and health and safety standards.
  • Drive the implementation of health, safety, and environmental protocols across all managed sites.
  • Act as the primary escalation contact for tenants and facilities staff, ensuring swift resolution of issues.

Candidate Requirements:


  • 4+ years in Facilities Management with multi-site oversight, including strategic planning and budget management.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential), IWFM or IOSH membership (preferred).
  • Strong contract management skills, with a track record of managing service charge budgets and ensuring compliance.
  • Proven ability to implement FM strategies across diverse properties and to lead teams effectively.
  • Confident, self-motivated leader with excellent organisational and communication skills.
