The team’s expertise spans multi-phase urban regeneration schemes, corporate joint ventures, investment acquisitions and disposals, and complex debt financings. They represent a loyal clientele, including developers, investors, landlords, tenants, lenders, and borrowers, benefiting from embedded M&A, real estate finance, tax, investment, construction, planning/zoning, and ESG expertise.The RoleThe London office of this Magic Circle firm is seeking an Associate with 4 – 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join their esteemed Real Estate Finance team. You will work on a variety of high-profile transactions, providing comprehensive legal support and innovative solutions to clients.Key Responsibilities:Structuring, documenting, and negotiating complex transactions, including secured lending, tax and operating leasing, and export credit finance.Collaborating with other practice areas on broader real estate finance and corporate transactions.Utilising best delivery tools such as templates, Legal Support Centre, Resource Management, Legal Project Managers, and Matter Balance Reports.Proactively expanding your legal and technical knowledge to ensure it is up to date.Engaging with knowledge resources effectively and participating in knowledge initiatives.Managing matters with disciplined practice, including timely timesheet submission and adherence to matter opening and conflicts clearance processes.Key RequirementsThe successful candidate will be an associate with proven experience in real estate finance at a top-tier law firm.
