Associate/Technical Director EIA Consultant

An independent, well-established multidisciplinary consultancy are looking to expand their Environmental and Planning team in the Midlands. They are looking for an Associate or Technical Director EIA Consultant to join their Birmingham cohort. The main purpose of this role will be to manage and deliver projects, develop a team and win new business.

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing statutory and non-statutory EIAs
• Programme management, client and team liaison and document reviews
• Working on projects such as major infrastructure, renewable energy, minerals and strategic housing
• Business development with new and existing clients
• Contribute to the coordination of the Planning and EIA service area

Requirements and Skills

• Able to lead EIA coordination on large development proposals
• Demonstrable experience producing Environmental Statements for both technical and non-technical aspects
• Sound understanding of the UK planning system especially EIA regulations
• Experience leading a team
• A full UK driving license

They offer a salary up to �65k, private medical, pension scheme and payment of a professional subscription.
