The Role:

As an Attendance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high levels of student attendance and engagement. Your responsibilities will include:
✔️ Monitoring and recording daily student attendance
✔️ Contacting parents/carers to follow up on absences and lateness
✔️ Identifying and addressing attendance concerns in collaboration with pastoral staff
✔️ Liaising with external agencies where necessary to support students and families
✔️ Ensuring all attendance records comply with school policies and government guidelines

Who We're Looking For:

This role is only open to applicants with previous experience working in schools or the education sector. The ideal candidate will have:
✅ A strong understanding of school attendance processes and safeguarding policies
✅ Excellent administrative and organisational skills
✅ The ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
✅ Experience using school management systems (e.g., SIMS) is highly desirable
