Audit & Accounts Senior Manager

Halliday Marx havepartnered with a large accounting practice to recruit a QualifiedAccountant at Senior Manager level who is fluent in a Europeanlanguage. This is a permanent role to work closely with the partnerand the Investment team. This role is 3 days a week in theoffice, 2 from home. Duties Leading on an allocated portfolio to ensure that all deliverables aremet in a timely manner Reviewing year end accounts Working closely with the partner Cross Border VAT Producing Management Accounts Assisting juniormembers of staff on audit assignments. Reviewing accountsand smaller audit clients working papers. Finalisingworking papers and accounts with partners Working on largeraudit clients, managing the team and completing technical work Preparing budgets and reviewing actual costs Providingad hoc advice to clients Training theteam Admin manager to the trainees including having monthlycheck-in meetings to set and monitor performance objectives along withapproving timesheets Helping/ leading one off projects tosupport the growth of the firm Requirements; Qualified in either ACA or ACCA (ESSENTIAL) Fluent ina European Language (ESSENTIAL) #J-18808-Ljbffr
