Position: Accounts & Audit Senior
Salary: �45,000 - �47,000
Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Essex based Accountancy firm in their quest for a Accounts & Audit Senior Accountant to join their friendly & experienced team of accounting professionals.
This role will involve you holding a vital role in collaborating with a diverse clientele, delivering professional accounting services and financial guidance.

Responsibilities for the Accounts & Audit Senior will entail:

• Overseeing a client portfolio, providing high quality accounting and taxation services
• Drafting and reviewing annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
• Involved in the audit process from planning through to completion�
• Leading audits�
• Offering financial guidance and ensuring compliance to accounting standards and tax regulations
• Guiding and supervising junior team members, offering instruction and support as needed.
• Assisting with special projects and Adhoc tasks, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
• Fostering strong client relations, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement.

To be eligible for the role of Accounts & Audit Senior, candidates should possess:

• Must have at least 3 years UK accountancy practice expereience.
• ACCA or ACA qualification are desirable although qualified by experience will also be considered.
• Hold strong technical proficiency in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial reporting.
• Must be able to demonstrate previous audit experience in accountancy practice enviroment.�
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, and Accounting and Taxation software.
• Friendly demeanour and adeptness at teamwork.
• Proficient communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues across all levels.
