Audit and Accounts Senior Location: Blackburn, UK Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Company: A reputable and growing accountancy firm based in Chorley is seeking a dedicated Audit and Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. Your role and responsibilities Reporting directly to the Directors and Managers you will be responsible for: Review and finalise bookkeeping and VAT Returns prepared by junior members of staff Preparation of year end accounts for companies, partnership and sole traders Review and finalise of year end accounts prepared by junior members of staff for Director/ Manager sign off Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax computations for Director/ Manager review Preparation of Corporation Tax computations for Director/ Manager review Planning and preparation of audit work including being the lead personnel during fieldwork Provide cloud software training for staff and clients - Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Day to day dealing with staff and client queries Essential skills Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages Excellent written and spoken communication skills Being able to work individually and as part of a team Good organisational and timekeeping skills Excellent attention to detail Ambitious, proactive and self-motivated Experience in audit Being fully qualified (ACCA/ ACA) or part qualified or qualified by experience How to Apply: If you are a motivated and looking for a new opportunity, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you would be a great fit for this role
