Qualified Audit Manager

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join an established accounting practice with�an established team going through growth. You will be part of a dynamic team with excellent prospects to progress within the role.

Role:

This is a varied role, where you will lead a wide range of audits.including overseeing and undertaking audits, both in the office and at client premises. My client works with a wide range of corporates and SMEs�with an aim of�providing�exceptional�service in a professional and efficient manner.�

• Managing the audit from planning to completion, including leading the team, planning the fieldwork, drafting fees, leading meetings both internal and external, identifying issues, analysing data, and presenting findings internally and to clients, being aware of deadlines.


• Leading finalisation of the audit, including preparation of accounts and tax computation.


• Review accounts prepared by the audit team.


• Review company tax computations prepared by the audit and accounts team and liaise with tax specialists as necessary.


• Manage, train, and mentor the audit team from trainees through to seniors.


• Contribute to improvement of policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified with either ACCA or ACA.


• 5 years+�UK accountancy practice experience.


• Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.


• Audit and accountancy software experience


• Knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS..


• A driving license and access to transport is essential, as the majority of the audits are conducted at the client's premises.
