An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Audit Manager to join my clients Warrington, Cheshire offices.�



My client has a fantastic audit client base, focused on family and owner managed businesses across a wide range of industries and sectors located in the North-West. As a manager in their audit department, you will join a talented team to manage a portfolio of audit clients.



You will manage a portfolio of clients, and you will lead and develop members of our audit team, working closely with their partners and directors.�



Key Responsibilities:



- Managing a portfolio of clients, reporting to partners and directors

- Undertaking high quality audits, following our standard processes�

- Confirming arrangements with our clients

- Briefing and overseeing staff on assignments, providing on the job training, liaising with client staff

- Identifying and resolving audit issues in conjunction with our clients and partners

- Attending and presenting at audit planning and closing meetings

- Getting involved in recruitment and business development.



Preferred qualifications and experience:



- ACA or ACCA qualified with a proven track record of managing audit clients.
