Audit Manager

Bennett and Game Recruitment has the pleasure with working with a growing Accountancy Practice who are seeking an Audit Manager to join the team and work within the Dudley based team ensuring maximum efficiency is achieved on all projects whilst also taking a proactive approach in driving the team forward.

The role would mainly focus on the following duties; providing management over a portfolio of clients ensuring an excellent quality of service is provided on audits, preparing & performing them and also managing a team of audit staff. Split of work will be 50% Audit and 50% accounts/tax/special projects.

You would ideally have a recognised Accountancy qualification such as; ACA, ACCA, ICAS or similar.

Audit Manager Position Overview

• Running an audit team on site.
• Reviewing the work of the audit team
• Planning an audit.
• Reviewing accounts/tax/management accounts.
• Training staff/managing workload.
• Being involved in special work (due diligence, forecasts, business sales/acquisitions etc)
• Managing a portfolio of clients.
• Preparation of the end of year accounts
• Preparing & processing financial paperwork

Audit Manager Position Requirements

• A recognised accountancy qualification would be advantageous
• Experience with the Microsoft Office package would be essential
• Previous Audit Senior / Supervisor / Manager experience within an Accountancy Practice would be essential

Audit Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary between �55,000 - �65,000 per annum
• 40 hours per week (including a 1-hour lunch break)
• Staff can start work any time between 8am - 10am
• 25 days including 3-day Christmas shut down + bank holidays
