Audit RI

Audit RI required. My client is a well-established firm of business advisers and accountants based in Northampton, and they are seeking an Audit RI to join their welcoming and friendly team. The Audit RI will work closely with the Senior Team to develop and manage a wide variety of clients across a number of a different industries.

The position is a client facing role, establishing strong relationships with a significant number of business owners across the country. The successful candidate will work on an extensive and broad portfolio of audit clients, within the owner-managed and corporate space.

Audit RI Position Overview

• Support and manage exceptional delivery of audit and assurance services for the client base
• Be responsible for the financial performance and management of a portfolio of audit clients
• Ensure the firm's risk management and quality control procedures are adhered to
• Work closely with the senior leadership team supporting on strategy and business planning
• Ensure quality of work is kept to the highest possible standard
• Commercially minded and able to develop business with new and existing clients
• Help manage and train the more junior members of staff

Suitable applicants must be fully ACCA/ACA qualified, as well as obtaining their practice certificate and previous RI experience. My client requires candidates to have 10+ years previous audit experience in an practice environment.

Audit RI Position Requirements

• ACCA/ACA qualified, with practicing certificate and RI experience
• 10+ years audit experience in a practice environment
• Strong technical ability with a working knowledge of recent developments in relation to audit and accounting standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Clear leadership skills with a proven ability to provide clear directions and feedback
• Previous exposure to owner managed businesses is essential
• Full UK driving license is essential
