Auto Electrician

Red Sky is searching for a skilled and passionate Auto-Electrician to join our client at Birmingham Airport. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground support equipment (GSE) fleet, maintaining peak performance and keeping airside operations running efficiently and safely.What You'll Do: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues on a variety of GSE vehicles and equipment.Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential electrical problems before they cause breakdowns.Utilise specialised diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint electrical faults.Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all GSE electrical systems.Collaborate with internal customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations. We're looking for someone with: A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Auto-Electrician, with a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems.Experience working on a variety of vehicles and equipment (a plus).A proven ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical faults.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers.The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.A valid driver's license.A clean criminal record check is mandatory for airside access.
