Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto-CAD Technician to join our client's team in Aberdeenshire. The successful candidate will produce multi-discipline drawings and documents for projects and enquiries, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves conducting quality reviews of drawings and models to meet internal and external specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous improvement processes.

Main Responsibilities
* Create 2D and 3D drawings and models using Autodesk software such as Inventor and Auto-CAD while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
* Maintain and populate the CAD library, ensuring components, templates, and standards are updated and accessible.
* Conduct quality reviews of drawings and models to meet internal and external specifications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
* Develop and maintain documentation, including specifications, work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical reports.
* Distribute drawings and documents internally and externally.
* Liaise with operations and procurement teams to provide technical support as necessary.
* Assist with enquiries and obtain quotations for project materials and equipment as required.
* Update and as-build drawings/documents as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
* Participate in safety meetings and training activities.

Entry Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
* A recognised technical qualification or 5 years of relevant work experience.
Related Experience:
* Strong knowledge of DNV 2.7-1 structures.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD drawing software packages.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Special Training (Desirable):
* InspHire Office Edition.
* Equipment product knowledge.
