With the introduction of new services here in the UK and our unparalleled knowledge of business with Africa, our 5 year strategy ensures “Controlled Growth” as we aim to become the Bank of choice for businesses wishing to transact in the African continent.Role Responsibilities:Developing robust, secure, and efficient automation botsAssessment of manual processes, providing feedback and further input to make business processes better, not exclusively though technical solutions.Testing and support of automation solutionsInvestigation, diagnosis, and resolution of automation flow failuresWorking closely with other project and service management teams to deliver and maintain automation solutions.Identifying and designing business processes for automationSetting up, testing, and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error.Monitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.Producing process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forward.Ensuring quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and prevent any potential bugs.Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.Maintain, monitor, and support the bank’s applications and infrastructure environment.Provide feedback and recommendations on requirements based on system health check results.Identifying and delivering continuous innovation and best practice solutionsAny other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of department.Skills/Knowledge Required:Hands on experience on RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc. UiPath experience is highly preferred.Software applications development, implementation, and support skillsExperience with Scrum/Agile development methodologiesExperience building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, JSON, RPC, etc.Oracle and MS SQL Database experienceExperience developing software utilising various coding languages including Java, C++, PHP, SQL, and other object-oriented programming languages.Understanding of workflow-based logic.Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent time and project management skills.Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.Good presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritise the most critical tasks and projects.Experience in Linux and Windows operating systemsKnowledge of systems and networks, hardware, and networking protocolISO 27001 experience is an advantage.Able to work with little or no supervision, even out-of-hours.A degree in IT or related field.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in RPA development, administrator, or supportRelevant certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, UiPath, other RPAs, etcExposure to VMware, SharePoint, and CitrixWindows Server administration and support skillsExperience in some of the following Applications –SWIFT, Calypso, T24/Flexcube, Bloomberg, Reuters and IntelliMatchBanking/Financial sector experience is an advantageThis is a permanent paying up to £75,000 based upon experience.
