Automation Engineer

Bespak is looking for an onsite Automation Engineer for a 24-month fixed term contract on the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this permanent onsite role is between £60k to £65k this includes the shift allowances plus a discretionary annual bonus. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Shift Pattern Days Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5.00pm Friday 8:30am to 3:45pm
There is some flexibility on start and finish times and hybrid working alongside the needs of the business.
As an Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the technical integrity of process and equipment automation systems at our Holmes Chapel site. You'll provide hardware and software support, resolve breakdowns, implement preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), EHS, and company standards. Your role also involves supporting computer system validation, quality improvement initiatives, and training other team members. This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate closely with operations and engineering to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
