Job Description:
The Warranty Manager will be responsible for managing and processing warranty claims, ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and within manufacturer guidelines. This role involves coordinating with service technicians, the dealership team, and manufacturers to ensure claims are processed promptly, maximizing customer satisfaction and warranty claim success rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and submit warranty claims to manufacturers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with manufacturer standards.
Review and verify all documentation related to warranty claims, including work orders, receipts, and inspection reports.
Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers to resolve any issues or disputes related to claims.
Monitor claim statuses and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure prompt resolution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
Manage warranty records and reports, keeping detailed documentation for all claims.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding warranty coverage, terms, and claim statuses when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warranty administration role.
Familiarity with warranty policies and claim procedures for automotive manufacturers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of paperwork accurately.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines.
Proficiency in automotive dealership management software (e.g., Kerridge, CDK) is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
