About the Role:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated AV Event Technicians to join our client’s dynamic team, working on a variety of live and corporate events across the London area. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals passionate about delivering high-quality audio experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and dismantle audio equipment for live events, including concerts, conferences, and corporate functions.
Work closely with event coordinators, performers, and other technical staff to ensure flawless sound production.
Operate and manage mixing consoles (both analogue and digital) during events.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues promptly to maintain the integrity of live performances.
Maintain and repair audio equipment, ensuring all systems are in optimal working order.
Collaborate with lighting and video teams to integrate sound with other event production elements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an AV Event Technician in live and/or corporate event settings.
Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or Ableton Live.
Familiarity with live sound software such as Q-SYS Designer, Smaart, or Dante Controller.
Strong understanding of sound system setup, including PA systems, monitors, and line arrays.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A proactive approach to maintaining high standards of audio quality.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours based on event schedules.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
