Aviation Safety & Quality Manager

An exciting opportunity to lead a newly established team aimed at improving efficiencies has arisen in Oxford. You will be responsible for setting up and supervising an Operational Support Team. The team will engage in various support activities such as aircraft movements, refueling coordination, ramp control, and maintenance. This role offers a unique chance to build a new team and make a significant positive impact on our operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with operational standards and 5S principles
Coordinate aircraft ground movements and ensure aircraft are properly secured when left outside.
Liaise with customer service managers (CSMs) and pilots to optimise aircraft dispersal and ramp utilisation.
Collaborate with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) and airport personnel to provide aircraft refueling.
Ensure aircraft are well-presented and ready for customer handover.
Regularly interact with MRO supervisors to ensure effective support functions.
Manage the company van fleet.
Oversee general cleanliness.
Coordinate the supply of tools and parts to the aircraft maintenance bays.
Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
Experience in leading a small team or a strong willingness and motivation to learn leadership skills.
Background in aviation maintenance or operations.
Enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile to achieve customer satisfaction.
