This is no ordinary opportunity. As part of the preopening team, our Back of House Manager will play a pivotal role in the hotels pre-opening and opening phases. You will recruit, train and grow your team to shape our operations.
About You and The Role
Were looking for a Back of House Manager who:
Thrives in a preopening team, bringing creativity, efficiency, and sustainability to the forefront, with experience in a similar role within fast-paced, high-quality hospitality environments.
Leads and motivates diverse teams, including agency staff, while ensuring smooth back-of-house operations such as stewarding, goods receiving, H&S compliance, and cost management.
Is highly organised, with expertise in managing rotas, stock control, cleaning schedules, pest control, and waste management.
Demonstrates strong financial acumen in managing budgets and controls, with experience in Adaco and a Health & Safety Level 3 qualification being advantageous (but not essential).

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy Brasserie Adeline, an all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
