Job Title: Bakery Assistant

Key Information
�15 per hour - manual role (�31,200 annual salary before overtime)
Hours: Sunday pm to Friday am - 8-hour shift
Job Overview: As a key member of the team, you'll assist in producing a variety of high-quality rolls, scones, and butteries. If you're physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and are ready for a challenge that's like a workout in itself, we'd love to hear from you!

The role works weekly from Sunday evening at 5pm to Friday morning at 1.30am. You will work eight hours a day over a 40-hour week at a rate of �15.00 per hour. Overtime is occasionally available (approximately 7 hours a week at �30.00 per hour).

You do not have to have experience to do this role, however you will be supporting five bakers and the role requires a lot of hard physical work to be able to support the bakers over an eight- hour shift.

As Bakery Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our bakery. Your responsibilities will include all of the training will be provided on-site.

• Handling dough and operating cutting machines
• Panning up rolls and ensuring efficient movement throughout the bakery
• Preparing and baking white and seeded rolls, scones, butteries, and softies to the highest standards
• Assisting in the dispatch and preparation of customer orders
• Moving heavy racks as part of the baking process
• Flattening butteries and ensuring consistency in product quality
