We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Paediatric Team at Whittington Centre, Streatham. This role involves working with children and young people, providing specialist assessments and interventions to support their development and functional independence.

\nKey Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments for children and young people with a range of physical, developmental, and sensory needs.
  • \n
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance children's functional abilities in daily activities.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and intervention strategies.
  • \n
  • Provide expert advice and strategies to parents, carers, and educational staff to support children's progress.
  • \n
  • Manage and prioritize a caseload independently within a community setting.
  • \n
\nRequirements\n
    \n
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with relevant qualifications.
  • \n
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a community setting.
  • \n
  • Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for paediatric patients.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider teams and families.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • \n
