We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

  • Assess, plan, and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
  • \n
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address physical, emotional, and social challenges.
  • \n
  • Educate patients, families, and carers on strategies to manage daily activities effectively.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development initiatives.
  • \n
\nKey Requirements:\n
    \n
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • \n
  • Experience in oncology or working with patients with complex needs (preferred).
  • \n
  • Strong assessment and rehabilitation planning skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload independently.
