\nJob Overview\n

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist with expertise in Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions to join the team at Worthing General Hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing expert assessment and treatment to patients with MSK conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings.

\nKey Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with MSK conditions.
  • \n
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve functional outcomes for patients.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
  • \n
  • Support and supervise junior staff and provide guidance to Occupational Therapy assistants.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards.
  • \n
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • \n
\nKey Requirements\n
    \n
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience, with a focus on MSK conditions.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in a hospital setting, ideally in orthopaedics or MSK.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload and prioritise effectively.
  • \n
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
