Salary: £40,959 - £48,504per annum (includes paid school holidays) + excellent benefits
The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking an enthusiastic, friendly individual to join our small but expanding team in Salisbury. As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people. You'll also be assessing our young people's mental health and recommending appropriate interventions in a personalised care plan. Building rapport is key; by doing this, you'll be able to deliver effective counselling and feedback on progress.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualized care plans. You will provide therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of young people. You will collaborate with educational and residential staff to create supportive environments. You will monitor and evaluate the progress of young people, adjusting interventions as necessary. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records. You will participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan care strategies. You will offer training and support to staff on mental health and therapeutic practices. You will engage with families and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
HCPC registration.
Membership of the RCSLT.
Completion of newly qualified competency framework.
A recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification.

As a qualified professional (or accredited Counsellor), you'll be eligible for membership of BACP, or a similar professional body (additional mental health or therapeutic intervention qualifications would be desirable)
