Band 7 Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are looking for an experienced emergency nurse or paramedic to join our Emergency Department (ED) team as a trainee Advanced Practitioner.
The trainee advanced practitioner educational programme will blend academic university study with the acquisition of work-based clinical learning. The successful candidate will be fully supported to undertake an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. After successful completion of agreed objectives, the post holder will progress to a band 8a Advanced Practitioner.
Main duties of the job
During training, the post holder will be practicing autonomously in the Emergency department within their agreed scope of practice, stage of training and level of competence to provide patient-centred quality care. This will encompass the skills of advanced assessment, examination, diagnosis and management.
