About the role - Behaviour mentor - Waltham Forest

There is an excellent opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to work with a diverse range of students who have needs that relate to Special Educational Needs, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and other SEMH needs. As the Behaviour Mentor for the faculty, you will be acting as a positive role model for students in the school, and you will be able to represent the school as a positive role model. In order to be successful in this position, this individual must have a positive attitude and be passionate about helping children with special needs achieve their full potential. Being a successful Behaviour Mentor requires you to possess both patience and empathy in order to succeed in your role. Additionally, it would be desirable if you had experience working with children who have SEN, ASD, or SEMH conditions. For a candidate to be successful in this position, it is imperative that they be capable of working under pressure and be quick to react when situations rise as they arise.

Ideal behaviour mentor
