If you're based in or near the Borough of Waltham Forest, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We're seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to join our rapidly growing specialist schools in East London. These maintained schools cater to pupils aged 3-19 years with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and associated complexities.

Starting as soon as possible, this full-time, long-term role offers you the chance to work alongside SEN-trained staff, supporting inclusive and progressive learning programmes. Your experience is essential to help us provide the best support to our pupils.

Main Duties:

• Attend to the personal needs of pupils, implementing social, health, physical, hygiene, first-aid, and welfare programmes.
• Supervise and support pupils during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
• Assist pupils in understanding instructions, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and early years to KS4, as directed by the class teacher.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and encouraging interaction and engagement in activities.
• Prepare and clear the classroom after lunch.
